  A very easy-going, friendly, staff has made our purchase experience an enjoyable one.   I bought a cabinet speaker from carlingford music and tbh, they were really really great. I initially opted for click n collect but changed my mind and asked them to ship it to me. I was expecting to foot the postage bill but they just said as cool as you like, no problem we’ll send it to you no charge and I had it within 4 days and I’m in a regional area. Cannot ask for more than that.

  I had trouble finding the cello a string 4/4 I wanted, and after making a call found out it had been discontinued. I was given options to find it overseas but decided against that as shipping was pricey. The order came within a few days- luckily I had a spare.

  I had a great experience with Carlingford Music Centre. I live in the U.S. so I contacted the store beforehand about a piano bench with back support that appears to be one of the best on the market but only available in Australia. The store director, Ned, confirmed they would ship the chair internationally and provided great personal service answering all my questions. It was easy to order the chair on their web site, they shipped it without delay, and within a week I had the chair on my doorstep. The cost, considering the favorable AUD to USD exchange rate, was comparable to what I would have paid in the US, even when you include international shipping. The chair itself is beautiful, and wide (47 cm / 18.5 inches without the height adjuster knobs), giving it the feel of a piano bench while still providing back support when you need it. The chair btw is the Crown Deluxe Tufted Height Adjustable Piano Stool with Back Support - CPB-CH1-BLK. Thank you Carlingford Music Centre for a great product and great service!

  I ordered some cable with express shipping on the 12/04/2022. On the 23/04/2022, I had not received my order, let alone a dispatch notice. I contacted Carlingford Music Centre Support and was told it was a warehouse delay and that I should have my order by the end of the week. On the 15/5, I had not received my order or any communication. I sent out an email asking for a refund. There was no reply to this email. Two days later, I received an email from Australia post notifying me that safe drop was unavailable; followed by an email from Australia post confirming that my order was on its way. The day after this, Carlingford Music Centre sent a confirmation email that my order had been shipped.   We loved going to Carlingford Music in person to look at tin whistles. The customer service from both gentlemen was extremely friendly and easy. I ordered a music book to be sent later and that was a breeze as well. So pleasant to talk to Lachlan and have the music book delivered so promptly (no thanks to auspost who bent the book!!!) Such a great place - NSW is lucky to have them. Reminded me of music shops from when I was a kid growing up, when every suburb had a well stocked music shop 10/10 would do all over again
