    Each time I spoke on the phone with someone from Carlingford Music, they were kind, helpful, and knew their business. I'm so grateful for the snare drums we have received, and my students love learning to play them.     Overall ok service. Communication needs improvement! Eg if an item listed in stock is not actually in stock it is appropriate to contact the customer and advise of a delay. Not just send half the order with no explanation.

    I placed an order for a number of items, these were all shipped separately and I am still awaiting one item.     Happy overall. But a little annoying that the items that were listed in stock online were actually a backorder item also communication was poor. For example Artist Guitars email you when shipped then when it is due for delivery and finally after it has been delivered. Yet this was the first communication I've had from Carlingford since I placed the order. Had I not called I would still not know it was backordered like!

    Very bad customer service. I placed an order for a book on the 3rd March with expected delivery for the 6th March. It is now the 16th March and have not yet received it. Followed this up with the buyer and did not hear back. Still waiting for order to arrive. Absolutely appalled, given that I have paid for the product.

    The online experience was positive - the selection and purchase of 3 small items. After 15 days of no contact, I dropped into the store to resolve any issue (eg 1 item out of stock?) and take home what I could. As it was, it appeared the order had been sent on the previous day, though I had not received the notification email as promised. The items arrived a day later, as per the order and safely packaged. Communication was the only clear issue: no communication from the vendor regarding delay, even at 2 weeks. Nor was there communication to indicate the package had been dispatched, as committed during the purchase process. If we add the delay itself - causes unknown - there is a suggestion that back room processes could be tightened up, especially Customer communication. I will shop with Carlingford Music Centre again, but if there's no improvement, I shall look elsewhere.

    I thought the ukulele machine heads would be "adequate", and am so surprised at the amazing quality and precise engineering for the price. I was able to rework an instrument for a friend who is delighted with how I replaced dilapidated vintage tapered tuning pegs. I would certainly revisit your website when working on future projects.

    Very happy with the product and would purchase from them again. Was not happy with the speed in which they dealt with the order. After several days and not receiving notification of it being posted I had to phone them. They eventually found the order and said they would put it in the post. Need to keep an eye on online orders.     Friendly and professional staff. Well informed and reliable at ordering in music. As with a lot of music shops, their shelves are not the best well stocked and ordering music is nearly always necessary. Having said that, they do order quickly and contact by phone when books arrive...normally with in the week.

    Because the product was required quickly, I telephoned to change my Ebay order from postal delivery to pick up. I had to make 4 phone calls in 3 days to find out when it would be available. It would have been nice if CMC had kept me informed rather than me having to chase them. Otherwise they were friendly and helpful.

    Hi Kirsty We are sorry for this, as it was out of our control. This was an issue with one of our couriers Fastway repeatedly not pick up from our store. Since this issue, we have closed our account with Fastway and moved to a more reliable courier. I understand that this cannot fix the unpleasant transaction and experience you have had, but to show that we are taking steps to prevent this from happening in the future.
