  The staff member was very helpful in describing the cello case. He then made sure it was ordered in time to catch the next shipment from Melbourne. Finally he suggested the case be delivered to a family business rather than my home to save 50% on delivery. I was very impressed.

  was looking for a vintage electric piano. Ned took the time to understand why and agreed to help me look for one. He also recommended some great alternatives. We couldn't find the vintage instrument but the recommend product is awesome. He took the time to help find the right stand and i get the look I wanted, the sound I wanted and all in a cheaper, more flexible and portable package!! Awesome service and good on time delivery!

  Had to continually follow up for shipping information, which was a bit frustrating. I had also been told the item was received from the warehouse on a Thursday and it wasn’t posted to me (after already waiting 2.5 weeks) until the following Tuesday. furthermore - when my violin arrived it hadn’t been strung. As a beginner - Im now going to need assistance with getting this done.

  The piano stool was speedily delivered, left in a safe place (they didn’t redeliver to post office which was great as it is so heavy and saved my time to pick up at Post office). The stool is excellent in quality. Overall I am very happy for my purchase!

  Their range is great - the only place I could find the parts I needed to fix a second hand bongo drum. It’s so much nicer being able to fix something than throw it away and buy a new one. Very grateful for the range of parts Carlingford Music Shop stocks.

  ordered item, told it would take ~15 days to arrive, took about 35. I understand deliveries are being slowed due to COVID, but don't make a promise if it cannot be kept due to factors outside of your control. Emailed the store on about the 25th day, inquiring about the status of the item, never received any response. Called them a day or so later to ask, told it wasn't in but would be in soon and they'd call me when that occured. Called them on the final day to ask again, it was there, but they'd forgotten to tell me. Oh and initially one of the staff ordered the wrong item for me which I had to point out and correct. Essentially you acted as a mediator between me and a warehouse and provided nothing else of note. Additionally, the viola is faulty as one of the tuning pins will not stay in place and just unwinds until the A string is very loose. Again I understand that's out of your control but could you not have at least checked the instrument before handing it to me? I'll be back to see if you can help me fix it or provide me with another one.

  Order was delivered promptly, however the books arrived damaged. I reached out to Carlingford Music by email with photos of damage but no response. Packaging could be improved to protect items in transit. It is disappointing as these books are for AMEB exams and it looks average to arrive for examination with damaged books.

  I found time I was looking for online, they were both convenient to me to pick up and well priced. I was advised very quickly it was ready for collection. They have Covid safe practices in place and collection was easy using the loading dock. Note the dock is the door at the right rear.
