  Carlingford Music had what I wanted (a Rode USB microphone) and the website stated it was in stock. After ordering and paying for it there was nothing said about it being out of stock. Six weeks later it is finally on its way, which is great, but just be honest from the start. Don't say something is in stock when it isn't, just to get a sale. It might work the first time, but I will avoid using Carlingford Music in future as you can't trust the info given.

  The communication with CMC has been fantastic. It was challenging for them as the Rode boom arm I ordered was very much delayed due to covid. The team were very patient answering questions, and I received the item eventually. The Rode boom arm is fantastic! I finally have space on my desk, and I can record my podcasts, and hold client online meetings very easily with the mic attached to the arm. Thank you CMC team!   Product delivery took over a month to ship domestic. There was no communication from the company about the delay. After the delivery deadline passed and I checked my order and noticed it hadn't even been shipped yet. I politely opened a line of communication asking for ETA and details etc about my problem and was promptly met with, and i quote "sorry, Rick, there seems to be a bit longer delay ". No information, no discount, no throw-in products. They couldn't even be bothered to give me a full stop at the end of a sentence. Incredibly unprofessional customer service combined with a lengthy delay on a product that could realistically be shipped in hours as opposed to months really makes it impossible to give anything other than a 1 star. Not to mention the actual product doesn't support the weight of a stock microphone! Do not shop here people. You'd do better to light your money on fire for warmth.

  Did my part to support local business (even that they are a lot more expensive than digiDirect). Waited for 2 weeks and no news. Understood that there was a pandemic but no one told me that the product was not available. Called them every week until I had to settle with a lower level a couple of months later. Asked them to do the processing before I arrived so I can pick up and go, completely ignored and tried to sell the even more expensive option. Don’t think I will ever buy again.

They have all gone out of their way to assist me with my enquiries and I totally appreciate their help and honesty with what will fulfil my needs !   Great service from Carlo Music received the banjo heads fast, fitted one of my banjos the other day, sounds great just like stepping into the 1800's with that old time banjo sound... Fantastic upgrade would recommend to anyone wanting that perfect folk banjo sound... Just an FYI please consult professional assistance if you're not sure how to fit the head as the process can be tricky... Happy Picking

  Carlingford Music Centre's advertised price for the product I wanted was more expensive than where I originally ordered, but my original supplier was out of stock. I mentioned this to Carlingford Music Centre, and they matched the price anyway, and I was able to pick up personally as well without any problem. Nice clean no-hassle transaction! And I was buying an Australian product from an Australian local business - double pluss.

  Site incorrectly advertised product came with a CD. I was asked to return the product for a refund which I did at my cost because the post office said I could not simply send it Return to Sender as instructed by Carlingford. Carlingford did not refund me that cost although I asked that they do so.
