  Murray took my order over the phone. He collected and posted the books that were in store and ordered some other books. The books collected were received 2 days later. This is a great service in these times of social distancing. I was able to have a chat to Murray and I find him and Amanda to be very friendly while providing a professional service. I really like dealing with Carlingford Music Store and recommend them to all my students parents regarding purchasing books, pianos or other musical items.

  Amanda was very helpful and offered to post me books when they come in or when I need them in the future. This made me feel relieved that I can still access music without coming into the store. After this I remembered some books that I forgot when I was in store. Amanda found them for me and posted them and I received them on the next day which was very helpful. I hope all at Carlingford Music remain in good health and that the business can continue to operate.

  I was contacted to ask for a review on the two items I ordered and so here it goes. The summary is: -long waits (several weeks) to receive one of the items I ordered (to an Australian capital city) -item was not sent to the shipping address I provided -no replies to emails -discovering the other item I had already ordered and paid for was actually on backorder indefinitely (exactly the same thing happened in 2018 when I ordered from Carlingford. I obviously won’t be making the same mistake and ordering from Carlingford a third time). -only finding out about the item being on backorder because I kept attempting to contact Carlingford myself. -the event I needed the item for had come and gone and so obviously I needed to go and buy another one from elsewhere -after a month of no news on this backorder item, I once again emailed and received no reply so had to call again to ask for a refund. More than happy to provide further info on any of this if needed. Such a waste of time.

  Carlingford were pro, got my order out quickly, price was good, arrived exactly as described and is what I wanted. The courier left it unsecured at my front door tho, after I had filled out their online form nominating a different day for delivery when I would be home. So the music shop is great, the courier is not. Not their fault.

  I bought the most beautiful pianos ever. LOVE the Petrof. From the first time I played one nearly three years ago I have been longing to buy it. It brings me joy every day. And the service and ease of delivery was great too - didn't detract from the excitement of a NEW PIANO. Actually the piano movers had to take a grand piano up to the second floor - not easy for them!!!! - but worry-free for me. And I know the technician they send out for the first tune will be exactly what I need - because Carlingford Music cares about pianos. This is my forever piano. (and the grandkids love their new shiny black upright too - and the slow closing lid won't smash their tiny little fingers - bonus - everybody gets a piano)

  We have no Issue with the purchase of the SK 2 Keyboard and the leslie speaker however we have been waiting for an expression pedal on back order paid for. The 8 pin plug that was supposed to be with the keyboard is also on back order and despite several calls we have received no updates on where the goods are and when we expect to receive them. Disappointing result !

  The "new" epiphone les paul custom pro that i spent over $1k on, when i opened the box, was covered in dust, chips on the back that had been filled in with black permanent marker, will be going to fair trading.
