  POSITIVES: Great program, recognition of phonics, repetition and logic, varied approach to learning types, very motivating for children. Excellent. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: I have to log out of the program to allow me to switch from the 1st child's session to the 2nd child. And there are far too many "marketing" emails, nearly every day, very annoying when I already have membership..

  My children are captivated by the games but there is no logical sequence and there are certain concepts that are thrown at the child before they have been exposed to them. For example; My 5 year old preschooler was exposed to a capital letter I with the serifs on top and bottom. Then, in the end of level test, was asked to identify a sans sarif "I". There is also very little opportunity for consolidation before a new concept (e.g. new letter) is thrown at them. My preschooler is up to level 4 but cannot complete it as it is too hard. A new letter is being taught to her (t) but she has still not consolidated the previous letters.

We're delighted to hear that your children enjoy the games; however, we’re sorry to learn about the challenges your preschooler is facing with the sequence and consolidation of concepts, depending on whether your child had completed the Placement Test, the program may have placed them at a level which had bypassed the lessons which had taught those particular letters and concepts. However, we do offer free downloadable Activity Sheets for every lesson within our program, which help to solidify the learning done within the online lessons. You are free to access these via your Family Dashboard at any time, and we always recommend utilising the past lessons Activity Sheets if you find your child's not grasping the new concepts taught, like revision work.   So far my six year old grand daughter is enjoying the reading eggs program. She loves the songs and frequently laughs while learning the letter sounds. Its great to be able to phone and actually talk to a person to get assistance-thanks

  My daughter Isabelle is really enjoying the Reading Eggs Junior program. She is 3, but not yet ready for a fully structured course, so the junior program is great for us. She loves books, and I read to her daily, and lately I’ve started to feel she may be ready to start learning basic reading skills which is why I signed up to reading eggs. We have the books at home, and the online games are so engaging. I’m excited to see how her reading skills develop!

  Within 2 weeks my grade 1 child's teacher has noticed a significant difference he was slightly behind on reading and has now caught up. My child has noticed his school work is easier for him to do at school with spelling, rhyming and reading and we only do half an hour 2 times a day so for anyone that has a kid a little bit behind this app can help that quickly. My child loves playing it he said it's like a video game app for learning.

  Reading Eggs itself seems excellent but after signing up for a 30-day trial we quickly discovered the app was not compatible with my child's tablet (an older model inherited from a family member). We tried our laptop but the touch pad was too complicated for him to use. So we tried my phone, which worked, but the screen was too small for him to see properly. Now I've bitten the bullet and bought him a new iPad. A worthy investment if he learns to read, but not an outlay I was expecting.

  My daughter absolutely loves Reading Eggs. Once she starts one lesson she wants to keep on going through the different levels, she finds it to be really fun way of learning. It is such a great educational tool - I really didn't know what was the best approach to teach her how to read, but this has been a great way to start and giving me good guidelines to help her. She is picking up the new concepts really easily and is really excited when she earns more gold eggs

  App concept is good but there are annoying design issues. For instance, the sound would just stop working & the app had to be restarted to get it back. When accessing parts of the app that need parental approval, there’s no back button, so your options are to either approve or force quit the app. That’s super annoying.

  Reading eggs are the best thing to happen to my grandchildren,from not wanting to read to a fight over who will be the first one too do reading eggs after homework. The hardest part is getting them off so the other one can have a go. So thank you reading eggs.

  good but some guidance is necessary as 4 year old get stuck some times. Like the highlight the speaker for the child to uderstand or do it automatically if the latter does not trigger it for 5 sec. Also it was a but confusing where to focus on reading rather than maths first.

  That's a truly wonderful site. It's very bright and engaging. My kids love to spend time there. The only one thing I'd suggest - to add more chests to open during a student's way to the end of the map. Now there are only 2 chests, and my kids always say they want more improvements for the Yeti's house

  My kids school have failed them by solely focusing on maori language and they had became behind in understanding English. I've got NO issue with learning maori but English in the main language used and reading eggs has been the only reason for then catching up to the standard they should be at. I am truly grateful for this program and highly recommend it to anyone that needs help

  We have been using reading eggs for the last few weeks with our 5 year old whilst we (parents) have been working 12 months in a non-English speaking country where she attends a local school and has been learning to read in a language other than English. She has already made enormous progress with her English reading skills using Reading Eggs and without the tears we had before when we tried to teach her at home ourselves. I believe this program will help our daughter to keep up with her class once she returns to school in Australia. We no longer have arguments about doing English reading practice because she looks forward to using ABC Reading eggs. Her motivation to learn to read has soared. We are really grateful to have signed up. Thank you so much to the brains behind this program!

  My 5 year old son absolutely loves this (so do I haha) He doesn't like to sit and focus for long. When you put a work sheet infront of him or try get him to engage in a learning game of some kind but this app is a win. He loves it and will do a good 20 minutes a day on it. He has learnt heaps and has only been using it about a month.

  I was keenly looking forward to an ABC-endorsed app that'd give me accurate phonic awareness activities to use with my preschool grandchildren. The audio for unvoiced sounds such as /h/, /c/, and/t/ are just plain wrong and are the source of confusion to children and parents alike. Also, teaching that( sound) /i/ is for igloo and icecream isn't right either. The response from the support team was unsatisfactory. Reading Eggs needs to as speech pathologists to review this and correct the errors. Otherwise, the intention and activities seem very well thought out. But sadly I didn't continue my subscription. (I have taught young children to read, since the 1970s, and I know what I'm talking about )

  As a mom we want our kids to be smart and educated and so when I heard about reading eggs I was very excited for my son to start this program. Kananelo is a child that likes learning but at his pace but can do better with motivation and so when we found reading eggs he got excited because he would be using his phone. Ive also noticed that what he loves the most is achieving 10/10 for his challenges and reaching a new level. During the week he gets homework from creche but if he hasn't used reading eggs in a while he will personally ask for it to show how interested he is at learning. As a mother I am very happy about this and grateful for the improvement I have seen with his reading and identifying letters.

  Reading Eggs is an exceptional program that has transformed my child's reading ability. As a parent, I have always been an avid reader and I wanted my child to develop the same love for reading. However, I struggled to find books that were suitable for my child's age and reading level. But thanks to Reading Eggs, my child is now able to read and comprehend books that were once too difficult for her. The program is designed to make learning to read fun and engaging through a series of games and activities that are both educational and entertaining. The results have been remarkable. My child has made significant progress in her reading ability, and I have noticed a significant improvement in her confidence and motivation to read. Overall, I highly recommend Reading Eggs to any parent who wants to help their child develop a love for reading and improve their literacy skills.

  Readingeggs has helped with my daughter's confidence when reading. She loves earning the eggs to design an outfit or a house which encourages her to learn more and more. We played together for about 15 minutes each day and I noticed a big difference after 1 week.

  This has been marvellous for my soon to be 8 granddaughter who we discovered on her Xmas visit could barely read anything despite school reports that said she was on track. We started with phonics - two one hour sessions per week via Zoom. She loves it and has progressed to peak 15. On her school holiday visit this last week the difference in her ability and confidence was amazing. She was reading road signs and advertising notices, the descriptions of items at the museum and park visitor centre. The programme is beautifully designed to capture attention and be enjoyable but ensure that the learner must read by looking at the words and letters not guess from the pictures. She is now reading books with multiple lines of text quite quickly. I look forward to finishing the phonics and starting on the reading eggs programme with her.

  My daughter started Reading Eggs and Maths Seeds when she was in 4 year old kinder and it's given her such a great start ready for school. Now that she's in Prep she already has so much of the foundations and we've discovered through Maths Seeds just how capable she is at Maths, well above where we excepted her to be.

  My son (6) absolutely loves Reading Eggs. He has already completed the school phonics programme so is definitely advanced for his age. The app is fun and motivating through the use of games and rewards to help encourage learning and understanding. Each program is well tailored to age and ability and we highly recommend the app. Please make it available for Amazon fire tablets as we are having to use the browser version!

  I find Reading Eggs to be very good. The kids interact with it very well and choose to access it without prompting when they are looking for games to play. they don't see it as learning but as having fun.

  Our daughter (now 4) has had a very high need for stimulation from a very early age. Reading Eggs has provided a much needed resource for meeting that stimulus requirement. It gives the child so much scope and choice with learning, and parents can be as involved as they like with it. A note here, if you have a somewhat advanced learner/reader for their age level, parental assistance can really help things to progress as sometimes (when they are reading and doing activities far outside their 'age level') a little assistance in understanding what is being asked for a task makes all the difference to their understanding and therefore progression with the program :-)

  My Grandson LOVED it during the holidays! In the beginning, he started collecting eggs then would play a game (using his eggs), but that only lasted for three days. He was only allowed on the computer for an hour a day. After that he was just completing lessons, he was having so much fun without the games, he didn't want to get off. He totalled over 1233 eggs by the end of the holidays. Fantastic for all kids!! Highly recommended!!!!

  Reading Eggs has helped my children to read better and recognise letters, numbers, words, shapes and colours. It also helps in writing. This was referred to us by an early childhoon educator and it is a good investment for us. Helps children develop the skills for school.

  Reading eggs provides really great learning experiences for children. Navigating the activities, cute / friendly characters and subject content knowledge and strategies are clearly translated into child user-friendly resources. Seeing familiar characters and activities that are effectively structured, scaffolded and developed as the child progresses through the learning stages are helpful and engaging. My child is always excited to "show her skills" and the 10-15 minute block per learning area just flies by as she is keen to see the next task.

  The Reading Eggs website is simple to navigate. I was able to find great deals on book packs and even received a free puzzle. I would highly recommend the Reading Eggs program to every parent. My child has been doing the program since he was 2 years old and now he has advanced at school to the top of the class at age 6 thanks to Reading Eggs. I seriously believe all children should be doing this program!

  We did this separately to a school so it’s self driven learning and she loves it. I strongly recommend getting the early stage books too as that helps it really helped my little one build confidence she love to show me she can read the bedtime story too. As it gets more challanging definitely requires some parents engagement, mainly to help encourage and applaud the tricky things they have learnt. Would buy it without a doubt again but wouldn’t wait until she was five.

  As a teacher of students with learning difficulties that have had great success with reading eggs I chose to use it for my 6 children too. All 4 of our older children that are beyond Kindy read well above age level thanks to the brilliant delivery and content of reading eggs! They beg to do more instead of playing non educational games and see their learning as fun which makes me so delighted! I highly recommend it to all parents even if you have children in preschool. We use Mathseeds as well. I can promise you that it’s one of the best investments you can make in your child’s future! You will not find a better program!

  I think reading eggs is a fabulous tool to be used in conjunction with active engagement from parents/caregivers. My daughter at 5 is a brilliant reader and whilst my active daily engagement in reading with her is primary, reading eggs is a part of the success in her abilities. Mathseeds has been brilliant also along with phonics. As i am not a teacher, phonics has been a great tool for me in homeschooling my daughter and will continue to be used for a little while yet. Mathseeds certainly is a handy tool and the funny little creatures make it fun. Recommend as a tool for education

  As homeschoolers, we love the entire Reading Eggs program. We use both the app and the activity sheets which we print into workbooks. Both of our daughters are enjoying MathSeeds, Reading Eggs, Fast Phonics, and Reading Eggspress. We’re also looking forward to the new MathSeeds Prime program when they’re old enough! This is the only program we’re using for maths & English, it’s so comprehensive. Highly recommend

  I use a number of different learning apps and this has been by far the best for teaching and consolidating basics. I pulled both my sons from school where they were making zero progress and decided to homeschool. Within the past year my younger son has learnt to read (he's dyslexic). For my other son, it would be great if the reading print in the "books" (Reading Eggspress) could be enlarged - I can zoom the page but it doesn't increase the text size in the reading app (he has low vision). Otherwise, the guided comprehension & reading exercises have been a tremendous help - information processing has always been a big challenge for my older boy (the one with low vision, also has autism) but he's made great progress via Reading Eggs.

  I am very happy with this happy. It is very good value for money. I use it for both my children and I can see a notable improvement in their reading and maths. Some of the activities in Reading Eggspress are quite similar to questions asked in NAPLAN so it helps with that preparation too. Overall it is an amazing app.

  In general, my daughter can get lost into her device, with little to no acknowledgement that others are around her. She has ADHD, ASD and SPD. However, since starting the Reading Eggs journey, to call screen time now, just positive is an understatement. As much as she is interacting and learning from the app, she would vocalise her wins and errors, repeat the audio instructions to me and also asks for help if she is stuck or confused.   As a mother of 4 it becomes hard for me to help all the kids with their school work and extra studying. After we signed up for reading eggs it was just a walk in the park for me. My kids became so addicted to the programs and it was so easy to track their progress if lm not at home because Reading eggs communicate with you via email to let you know their level and to also remind me to let them finish their program. Their second term results were amazing especially for Maths, they raised to 70% and end of the year, Kaima became the best in Maths in their grade and got a certificate. Reading eggs is just the best platform for kids. Their English skills improved so well, and they really enjoyed working independently. Thank you Reading eggs we had an amazing moment and we produced great results through your app.

  There is a step that I feel needs to be added and that’s animation on how to announce the letters with visuals of how to position the tongue and mouth. My daughter loves it but I’ve found the books better than the app as I slow her down to ensure she is learning the sounds correctly.

  It looks good app, very good voiced and plenty of acrivities to do by himself or together. He really likes to do it. Just would be nice to have more activities with "driving" and about/with cars.

  My son is 5 and has autism, he is incredibly clever but struggles in a classroom environment. He is LOVING reading eggs. Asks to play it basically everyday. Loves winning eggs/coins and then buying accessories etc for his character and playing games. We have only been using it a couple of weeks, but hes doing really well and theres a massive improvement in his confidence.

  I highly recommend Reading Eggs. Its simple to use and kids naturally love the game style program. I personally loved the printable worksheets for writing and reading practice. As we all know, when kids feel something is fun, they want to keep going with it.

  The software is slow and clunky, regardless of where I am accessing internet or the device I'm using it is too slow to load. I remember this was an issue when my other children were young too. It's really put me off.

  This happened with reading eggs years ago too, I've used the app on phones and tablets, used the website on laptops and desktops. These are all new devices as well, so no reason why they wouldn't be meeting minimum requirements. I stand by my original comment, the software is slow and clunky and if my new devices cannot handle it then the majority of people using the system will face the same, or similar, issues.

  Reading egg is great! My son has autism and has learning difficulties and is none verbal. This is great for him as it is repetitive, fun and interesting. He seems to really like it and has lots of reading comprehension activities which is important to be able to see the development and understanding which is sometimes difficult with a non verbal person.

  We are not using your program because we cannot open application on our Samsung tablet. Tablet is new and updated. But your app keeps sending error- wrong password. I can open it on my phone or on webpage but it’s not what I need. I contacted your support service and they couldn’t help. Kept saying it’s working.

  I'm really happy with this app. I have twins, and one was managing really well at school but the other was falling behind. It was affecting her self confidence, and Fast Phonics together with Mathseeds have really given her the boost she needed. She doesn't realise she's on a really low level, she's just happy to get all the rewards and cheers when she gets it right. She's moving forward fast now, and with determination. There's just one small thing I would like to see changed, the games can be switched off (we save them for Sundays), but the house decorating can't. My son is constantly buying things for his house and decorating the house instead of doing his lessons. For that reason I have given four stars instead of five.

  I really like it and think for neurotypical children, it is perfect. My daughter is autistic, however, so we have found the timers on the tasks quite off putting, as she has a slower processing speed. Personally, I found it a little tricky navigating the lessons and finding just where we should be. It would be great to have short books linked to spelling tests too, rather than random words to spell. I love the concept though and know lots of children who are benefitting from the program.

  My five year has just completed reception in school. He has a speech sounds disorder and his teacher completely put him off literacy and reading by pushing him to do phonics with no adaptation or accommodation for his speech disorder. As a consequence he refused to do any task he perceived to be reading. Since he broke up a week ago we’ve started reading eggs. We started at the beginning of map one and within 6 days he’d completed this and was thrilled to get his certificate. Reading eggs enabled him to be more focused on literacy and reading in a week than he’d managed in a year of school. I now feel hopeful that with continued playing of the games he will return to year one with more confidence and literacy skills and be more equipped for what lies ahead.

  My grandson has gone from not wishing to read at all to finding his love of it. This is seriously an app that i would suggest try with especially an SEN child it does grab the attention and spur on a desire to keep going.
